Hello… My name is Amanda. I am so excited you are here!

Growing up I was never the little girl that played with Barbies or baby dolls. When it came to my Birthday and Christmas the top things on my wish list were always new items I could use to decorate my room. I lived for a new paint colour or furniture piece.  Totally weird.. I know.

One of my favourite things to do, was give people “tour” of my room whenever I had the chance. I would place everything just so, and show it off to whoever would look. Not very typical for an 8 year old. But I didn’t care.  

A few days before my 15th birthday, I fell in love with some wallpaper I saw in a magazine. I remember showing my dad and telling him how much I loved it.  I remember on the day of my actual birthday I came home from school to him pasting it on my walls. Oh the joy it brought me! Even now, as I type this it brings a smile to my face.

I always wanted to have a little girl (or two)! Decorating her room was one of the things I looked forward to doing the most. I wanted to create a space for her full of colours, patterns and textures. Once her room was complete, I knew I wanted to do this full time. 

Fast forward several years, & a few houses later and the passion is still very much alive. Basically my middle name is Homesense
